An ordinance of the Village of Gibsonburg, Ohio, enacted in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 713.06 through 713.09 of the Ohio Revised Code, dividing the Village into zones and districts, regulating, and restricting therein the location, construction, reconstruction, alteration, and use of structures and land; promoting the orderly development of residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, and public areas; providing for adequate light, air and convenience of access to property by regulating the use of land and buildings and the bulk of structures in relationship to surrounding properties; limiting congestion in the public right-of-ways; providing the compatibility of different land uses and the most appropriate use of land, providing for the administration of this Ordinance, defining the powers and duties of the administrative officers of the Village as provided hereafter, and prescribing penalties for the violation of the provisions in this Ordinance or any amendment thereto, and for the repeal thereof of all Zoning Ordinances of the Village of Gibsonburg passed prior to the effective date of this Ordinance.
