351.07 UNATTENDED VEHICLE RESTRICTED.
   (a)   No person shall allow any internal combustion engine to run unattended in the Village for a period in excess of fifteen minutes.
   (b)   For the purpose of this section an engine will be considered unattended if the owner or operator is not within ten feet of the engine.
   (c)   For the purpose of this section, a person asleep in a motor vehicle shall not be considered attending either the main engine of the vehicle or any auxiliary engine in or on the vehicle.
   (d)   This section shall not apply to the operation of emergency generators in use while the commercial electrical service is inoperable.
   (e)   Violation of this section shall be a minor misdemeanor for the first violation and a misdemeanor of the second degree for each subsequent offense within a one year period.
