Each Village full time employee shall be granted three days personal leave per year with pay for the following reasons: sick member of the immediate family, court appearance as a party, any other legal matters, marriage, premarital exam, domestic problem, or funeral for any death in the family of such employee’s, including brothers, sisters, parents, spouse, children, grandparents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and grandchildren. Additional time may be granted by the head of the department in cases of unusual circumstances surrounding a death in the family which requires traveling a great distance. Such additional time shall be with pay.
