(A) To provide certain minimum standards, provisions and requirements for safe and stable design, methods of construction and uses of materials in buildings hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, relocated and converted, the International Building Code (IBC), 2000 edition, the International Residential Code (IRC), 2000 edition, published by the International Code Council, and the State Building Code adopted pursuant to Neb. RS 71-6403 as amended, is hereby adopted by the city and are hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein.
(B) One copy of the Building Code is on file at the office of the Municipal Clerk and is available for public inspection at any reasonable time. The provisions of the Building Code shall be controlling throughout the Municipality and throughout its zoning jurisdiction.
