The governing body has the power and authority to fix the rates to be charged for the usage of the municipal sewer line. The Municipal Clerk shall bill the customers and collect all money received by the municipality on the account of the Sewer Department. He or she shall fully account for and pay to the Municipal Treasurer all revenue collected by him or her, taking as his or her receipt therefore and duplicate, filing one with the Municipal Clerk and keeping the other on file in the Sewer Department official’s records.
