521.11 PLACING SNOW ON PUBLIC STREETS.
   (a)   No person shall transfer snow or ice from private property to any public street or way, including public walks, and shall keep and maintain the same free and clear of snow and ice. In addition, no owner or occupant of any private property shall transfer or allow the transfer of snow or ice from private property to any public street or way, including public walks, and shall keep and maintain same free and clear of snow and ice. It shall be the responsibility of the owner or occupant of said private property to assure that any and all contiguous public streets or ways, including public walks, remain free and clear of snow and ice.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
