SECTION 4.01 APPOINTMENTS; QUALIFICATIONS; COMPENSATION.

The Council shall appoint a Municipal Manager for an agreed term and fix compensation. The Manager shall be appointed solely on the basis of executive and administrative qualifications. The Manager need not be a resident of the Municipality or State at the time of appointment and may reside outside the Municipality while in office only with the approval of the Council.
