511.13 FIRE DEPARTMENT PLAN REVIEW AND INSPECTION FEES.
   (a)   Plan review and inspection fees shall apply regardless of location within the jurisdiction of the Germantown Fire Department. Plan review and inspection fees shall be applied to all new and old construction or installations requiring a building permit.
   (b)   The following schedule of plan review and inspection fees is hereby established for the Municipality:

Thereafter, the fee shall be increased by $10.00 each time a follow-up plan review is performed.

Thereafter, the fee shall be increased by $10.00 each time a follow-up inspection is performed.
 
   (c)   Fire safety inspections shall be performed for all new or changes in occupancy and the schedule of safety inspection fees is hereby established as follows:
 
Basic Fee:
Ten dollars ($10.00) each inspection visit.
Residential:
Fees for inspections required by law shall be ten dollars ($10.00). When more than four units exist, the fee shall be five dollars ($5.00) for each and every unit. Subsequent re-inspection fees increase in five-dollar ($5.00) increments.
Child Care:
Fire safety inspections for child day care and child foster homes for six or fewer children shall be ten dollars ($10.00).
 
Fire safety inspections for child day care and child foster homes for seven but less than fifty children shall be twenty dollars ($20.00).
 
Fire safety inspections for child day care and child foster homes for fifty or more children shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
Exception:
Fire safety inspections for single family residence; singular apartment units; and existing occupancies for businesses, churches, factory buildings of less than 10,000 square feet gross area, schools, and places of assembly having less than 200 occupancy shall be made at no charge.
 
   (d)   Fees shall be collected in advance and shall be in cash, bank check, or certified check. Said fees shall be deposited in the Fire Services Fund of the Municipality.
