509.04 DISTURBING A LAWFUL MEETING.
   (a)   No person, with purpose to prevent or disrupt a lawful meeting, procession or gathering, shall do either of the following:
      (1)   Do any act which obstructs or interferes with the due conduct of such meeting, procession or gathering;
      (2)   Make any utterance, gesture or display which outrages the sensibilities of the group.
   (b)   No person shall display any placard, sign, leaflet, exhibit, or audio or visual presentation inside the Germantown Municipal Building thirty minutes prior to, during, or until thirty minutes has passed subsequent to the close of business, concerning the meeting being held in the Germantown Municipal Building. The foregoing applies to meetings of Germantown Council, and municipal boards or commissions, unless the person who wishes to display a placard, sign, leaflet, exhibit, or audio or visual presentation, has received that body’s prior written consent. In addition, the foregoing applies to any meetings of the Germantown Council, or any municipal boards or commissions, which are held at any location other than the Germantown Municipal Building.
   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of disturbing a lawful meeting, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. (ORC 2917.12; Ord. 12-10. Passed 2-21-12.)
