(A) (1) Town ordinance allows for an additional Utility Technician position as the town’s expert on broadband.
(2) This new Broadband Utility Technician will be paid at the same rate/wage as the existing Utility Technician position, in accordance with the overall structure of the Omnibus Merit Wage Increase Ordinance (G-05-23).
(3) This will provide for a Sewer Utility Technician and a Broadband Utility Technician in total at this time.
(B) Town ordinance allows for an additional Utility Operator position as the town’s Broadband Operator. This new Broadband Utility Operator will be paid at the same rate/wage as the existing Utility Operator position, in accordance with the overall structure of the Omnibus Merit Wage Increase Ordinance (G-05-23). This will provide for a Water Utility Operator and a Broadband Utility Operator in total at this time.
