§ 34.05 INSPECTOR(S).
   (A)   A part-time Inspector(s) shall be hired to meet the town’s immediate need for those services.
   (B)   The part-time Inspector(s) hired by the town shall be paid flat fees for each residential inspection and for each commercial/industrial inspection performed.
   (C)   Should the Inspector observe a situation involving construction or building safety which in his or her professional opinion, merits investigation, the Inspector shall stop at the location in question, make appropriate inspections and/or inquiries and report his or her findings to the Building Official.
      (1)   The Building Inspector shall be paid for each self-initialed, legitimate inspection/investigation made with findings reported to the Building Official, just as the Inspector is paid for inspections on which work orders are generated by the Clerk-Treasurer’s office.
      (2)   The builder/owner who applied for and hold the permit on any property inspected will be charged at the rate of $25 residential and $35 for commercial properties for any and all inspections performed.
