(A) The sewage utility, under I.C. 36-9-23-6, may request the discontinuance of water service for the non-payment of sewage utility billings. The town has entered a contract with the provider of water service to discontinue water service at the request of the town for non-payment of sewage utility fees. An administrative charge for such disconnection, in the amount of $60, is payable by the town to the water service provider for each customer disconnected at the town's request.
(B) The town shall notify the provider of water service of delinquent accounts where the town is requesting shut off of water service. The notices, actions and any other procedure required for the discontinuance of water service shall be those procedures adopted by the provider of the water service for shut off of water service.
(C) A charge of $60 will be made for all services where water is disconnected and reconnected for nonpayment of sewage bills.
