§ 32.02 PROMOTION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM; REIMBURSEMENT.
   (A)   The Town Council is hereby authorized to budget and appropriate funds from the General Fund of the town to pay the expenses of or to reimburse the town officials, as the case may be, for the expenses incurred in promoting economic development and tourism within the town.
   (B)   The expenses incurred in promoting the economic development and tourism within the town include, but are not necessarily limited to: rental of meeting places; supplies; meals; decorations; memorabilia; awards; donations to local civic groups interested in the economic development of the town; expenses incurred in interviewing job applicants; expenses incurred in promoting industrial, commercial, and residential development; bonuses to employees; expenses incurred in developing relations with other units of government; and any other expenses of a civic or governmental nature deemed by the Town Council to be necessary for the purpose of promoting economic development and tourism within the town.
