(A) A Plan Commission of the town is hereby created, which shall be known as the Town Plan Commission.
(B) This Commission shall consist of nine members, as follows.
(1) The Town Council (legislative body) shall appoint three persons, who must be elected or appointed municipal officials or employees in the municipal government, as members.
(2) The Town Council President (town executive) shall appoint four citizen members, of whom no more than two may be of the same political party.
(3) The executive of each county within the two-mile jurisdictional area shall appoint one additional citizen member. The executive of the county having the larger portion of the unincorporated area shall appoint its member first, and the executive of the other county shall then appoint its member, who must not be of the same political party.
