(A) The Clerk-Treasurer of the town, as the fiscal officer of the town, is hereby authorized to pay any claim(s) subject to interest charges and/or penalties in advance of approval of the claims by the Town Council.
(B) The claims shall be placed upon the docket for the approval and ratification of the Town Council at the next regular meeting of the Council.
