(A) Penalties for soliciting, peddling and/or canvassing without a license issued by the town are as follows:
(1) First offense is a fine of $250;
(2) Second offense is a fine of $1,000; or
(3) Third offense is a fine of $2,500.
(B) Each offense’s fine must be paid to the Clerk-Treasurer’s office within ten days of being issued to the offender. Failure to pay the fine within the allotted ten days will result in prosecution of the offender in the County Courts. Offender will be held responsible for the unpaid fine amount and all Court costs to pursue the prosecution of the action in the County Courts, including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees.
