(A) The town’s Municipal Works Board, for and on behalf of the town, is hereby authorized to make capital improvements, acquire equipment and facilities necessary to provide internet protocol enabled services including broadband services to customers interested in receiving such service.
(B) The town’s Municipal Works Board is authorized to engage consultants and legal counsel and to take any and all actions necessary to provide internet protocol enabled services including broadband services in the town and anywhere within the county and Harrison County, Indiana or elsewhere permitted by law.
