Junk Day is the third Tuesday of each month. The Public Works Department will collect all manner of large items from its citizenry. The list of prohibited items as set forth in § 51.02(A) is still in force, but any items not prohibited and not routinely picked up by the town will be picked up on these days. Examples of collectable items include, but are not limited to: overstuffed furniture; tables; chairs; ovens; washers; dryers; televisions; and the like. One large item will be picked up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays without an additional charge. A 24-hour notice of request should be made to the town’s utility billing office.
