§ 50.02  UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL LINES TO BE MARKED.
   (A)   Each and every landowner within the town, utility, public, or otherwise, or any other entity responsible for the installation of underground electrical, cable, telephone, or utility lines or conduits shall be required to install metallic survey tape in the ground a distance of at least two feet from the underground lines or conduits, and that the survey tape shall be installed underground at least 12 inches from the surface.
   (B)   No underground electrical, cable, telephone, or utility line or conduit shall be installed, laid, or placed directly above a sewer line or water line of the town.
   (C)   This section shall apply to all parcels of real property upon which an underground electrical, cable, telephone, or utility line or conduit is laid, placed, or installed on or after the day on which this section is adopted.
