All officers and employees serving on a full time basis shall be entitled to the following paid (State legal holidays):
First day of January;
The third Monday in January;
The third Monday in February;
The thirtieth day of May;
The fourth day of July;
The first Monday in September;
The second Monday in October;
The eleventh day of November;
The fourth Thursday in November; and
The twenty-fifth day of December.
If the holiday falls on a Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday, if the holiday falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. No officer or employee shall be compensated for a holiday unless the officer or employee worked the regularly scheduled preceding and succeeding work day.
