(a) Sick leave earned at another State Governmental Agency is transferable under the specifications outlined in Ohio R.C. 124.38. At the time of retirement, thirty days of sick leave may be used for severance pay.

(b) (1) Sick leave earned at the time of retirement, 500 hours of sick leave may be used for severance pay.
(2) All full time and regular part-time employees will be entitled to be compensated by the Village for up to 120 hours of unused sick leave in the month of December only of each year, at the rate of fifty percent (50%) of the value of sick leave time to be compensated, (50 cents on the dollar). Compensation will be the rate the employee is being compensated at the time the request is made.
