The building sewer shall be cast-iron pipe or vitrified clay sewer pipe of a quality as set forth in the latest edition of the Ohio State Plumbing Code. All pipe laid under drives or in streets and alleys shall be cast-iron or extra heavy vitrified clay sewer pipe. The installation of pipe shall be in strict accordance with the Ohio State Plumbing Code. No sewers shall be installed within ten feet of a water service line. In the event that it becomes necessary to install the building sewer closer than ten feet to a water line, that portion of the pipe closer than ten feet shall be constructed of cast-iron pipe with leaded joints or vitrified clay sewer pipe with premium joints.
