   (A)   Penalty Provided: Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not to exceed six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that such violation continues shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
   (B)   Summons To Appear: Whenever it is determined that any person has violated any provision of this chapter, a written complaint and summons containing a notice to appear in a court of competent jurisdiction shall be served upon the person charged, stating the name of the person charged, the offense charged, the time and place when and where the offense charged occurred, the time when the person charged must appear in said court, and such other pertinent information as may appear necessary or advisable. The issuance and service of such complaint and summons shall not be the exclusive method of initiating enforcement of the provisions of this chapter.
   (C)   Failure To Appear: It shall be unlawful for any person to fail or neglect to appear in response to, and as required by such summons regardless of the disposition finally made of the charge upon which such summons was issued. Appearance in said court shall be deemed complied with by an appearance by the person charged or by his attorney. (Ord. 268, 7-6-1982)
