9-3-3: SPECIFICATIONS:
All sidewalks and curbs hereinafter constructed, replaced or repaired within the city shall be of such materials and of such construction so as to create a hard, smooth, impervious surface; and shall be of such grade, width, depth, length and material as specified in the diagram and description designated as "standard curb and gutter" as follows:

Notes:
   1.   Forms shall be true to line and grade, securely staked, and made from steel materials.
   2.   "Dummy" curb joints shall be placed not to exceed 15 feet c/c nor less than 10 feet c/c; shall be not less than 3/16 inch thickness; shall be the same dimensions of the curb and gutter, except it shall extend only 21/4 inches into the gutter section.
   3.   "Through" curb joints shall be placed only at points of tangency on streets, alley, and driveway returns. All curb joints shall be clean, edged in the gutter section.
   4.   Concrete shall be 3,000 psi, 28 day strength mix design, cured by spraying with an approved curing compound.
   5.   3/8 inch sidewalk expansion joints at 25 feet 0 inches c/c.
   6.   3/16 x 11/2 inch deep sidewalk dummy joints at 5 feet 0 inches c/c except where there are expansion joints.
