Every pawnbroker who shall violate or neglect or refuse to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty of up to six (6) months in the county jail, up to a three hundred dollar ($300.00) fine, or both, and in addition to such penalty, the license of any person convicted as aforesaid shall be revoked.
