5-1-2: EXCESSIVE FORCE:

A. Prohibited: It is the policy of the county that excessive force by local law enforcement agencies shall not be used against individuals engaged in lawful and nonviolent civil rights demonstrations within the county boundaries.

B. Implementation Of Policy: The board of county commissioners and the county sheriff will implement this section by amending applicable county law enforcement procedures. (Res. 96-15, 3-11-1996)
