The governing board, in the absence of an agreement to form a joint powers board or administrator as provided in section 31-4805 of the Idaho Code, is authorized to appoint an official or administrator to maintain and govern a consolidated emergency communication system. The designated administrator shall be the Gem County sheriff and the Gem County sheriff's department shall service the 911 calls. The governing board may change the designated administrator at any time by resolution. (Ord. 98-04.1, 6-1-1998)
