(A) No person other than authorized city personnel shall operate a fire hydrant or interfere, in any way, with the city water system without first obtaining authority to do so from the Water and Waste Water Superintendent.
(B) The Fire Department does not require authorization for usage by its Department in the performance of their duties. The unauthorized usage of city water by connection to a fire hydrant shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be charged as such.
