§ 153.203  STORAGE OF FUEL.
   No tank for the storage of fuel, for the use in heating individual buildings, except those prohibited for underground locations by chapter, shall be placed or maintained above the surface of the ground, unless the placing of the tank is approved, in writing, by the city. Outstructures for storage of fuels or dispensing equipment thereof required by chapter and the utility governing the same shall be subject to the approval of the city. Any use requiring the storage, utilization or manufacture of products which could decompose by detonation shall be located not less than 400 feet from any residence or residential district. This section shall not apply to the storage or usage of liquid petroleum and natural gas for normal residential or business use providing other standards are met.
