§ 110.17 NON-PROFIT SOLICITATIONS.
For the purpose of this chapter, a PROFESSIONAL FUND RAISER means any person who for personal financial compensation or profit participates in a regulated activity in the city on behalf of the organization requesting exemption under this chapter. Upon being satisfied that the applicant is a religious, charitable, patriotic or philanthropic organization whose regulated activity will not involve the use of a professional fund raiser, the City Administrator shall issue a license for a period not to exceed 90 days without charge to the applicant to carry on the activity in the city. The organization, association or corporation shall furnish all of its members, agents or representatives conducting solicitation a copy of the license and written credentials stating the name of the organization, name of the agent and purpose of solicitation, which license copy and credentials must be in the possession of the member, agent or representative while engaged in a regulated activity.
