The curb and gutter shall be constructed as an integral unit, Design A, State Highway Department Standard Plant #7100. Construction joints shall be at intervals of eight feet, with expansion joints of one-half inch preformed expansion joint material, at intervals of 24 feet, and in no case to exceed intervals of 40 feet, curb and gutter shall be constructed of Grade A concrete, according to State Highway Department specifications. At the corners of each block the curbing shall be placed with a radius of five feet, and at driveway and alley entrances the curbing shall be placed with a radius of two feet. At driveway and alley entrances the gutters shall be of continuous construction. At all locations the facing of the curb shall be 14 feet into the street, from the property line.
