512.04 CONSUMPTION IN MOTOR VEHICLE.

(a) No person shall consume any beer or intoxicating liquor in a motor vehicle. This section does not apply to persons described in Ohio R.C. 4301.62(D) or a substantially similar municipal ordinance.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
