At the time of the filing of an application for a Commercial Tree Cutting Permit, the owner or the owner's authorized representative shall pay the following fees and deposits:
A minimum Permit application filing fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or such other higher amount as may be determined by the Building Official based on the Official's estimate of the cost to be incurred by the Village in reviewing the application for a permit and to insure the payment by the applicant of expenses incurred by the Village in processing the application. The property owner-applicant for a Commercial Tree Cutting Permit shall pay: the actual cost and expense of any investigation carried out by the Building Official or such other professionals as may be necessary to determine whether the proposed application is in accordance with this chapter; the cost of any and all notices required; and all other necessary expenses shall be paid by the property owner. To the extent the actual costs and expenses exceed the initial deposit determined by the Building Official, they shall be paid by the property owner upon the demand of the Building Official. Any unexpended balance of the deposit shall be refunded to the property owner-applicant upon completion of all administrative proceedings involved in connection therewith. No filing fee shall be refunded or returned. No permits shall be issued until all sums required to be paid by this section have been paid. (Ord. 2019-14. Passed 4-9-19.)
