Prior to interment, payment in full shall be made and a burial permit provided. Prepayment of Burial fees is permitted, provided that any increase in those fees from that date of prepayment to the date of Burial shall be paid in full prior to Burial. The Village shall not be responsible for securing the burial permit or for identifying the remains to be interred.
(a) Grave Openings. All Grave openings shall be done by Village employees or by a contractor designated by the Village.
(b) Interments per Grave. One infant Burial over an adult Grave is permitted, provided the Grave is of sufficient depth as determined by the rules and regulations of the Board of Cemetery Trustees and Council, or, in absence of specific rules or regulations, as determined by the Service Director. Three (3) cremation Burials may be permitted over one (1) other Burial. Four (4) cremation Burials will be permitted in a Grave where there are no vault Burials. Two or more adult Burials in one Grave is prohibited.
