159.09 COPS FUND.

There is hereby established a fund in the Village entitled the COPS Fund which shall be for the purpose of receipt of COPS grant funds from the Department of Justice through the COPS Universal Hiring Program and funds from the Village's General Fund to finance wages and fringe benefits of a part-time police officer.
