   159.02 AUXILIARY POLICE FORCE.
   (a)   The Mayor is hereby authorized to commission such number of men and women as is necessary to supplement the regular police force, which group shall be know as the Auxiliary Police Force.
 
   (b)   Members of the Auxiliary Police Force shall perform such functions and have such duties as directed by the Mayor or the Chief of Police.

   (c)   The rate of pay for Auxiliary Police Officers shall be as established from time to time by Council.
