1387.01 CONNECTIONS TO PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS; DISCHARGE OF UNTREATED SEWAGE.
   Every plumbing system shall be connected to a public sanitary sewer, or, where no public sanitary sewer exists, shall be connected to a private sanitary sewage disposal system. Such private system shall be deemed an integral part of the structure or structures for whose service it is intended, and shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the State Department of Health and the County Board of Health. No untreated sewage shall be discharged into any natural or artificial watercourse, ditch or storm sewer or upon the surface of the ground. No box or pit privy, nor any chemical closet, shall be installed. (Ord. 2021. Passed 8-10-81.)
