(A) Any employee who misses three consecutive scheduled work days due to an illness or injury must have a doctor’s release before returning to work.
(B) The city insurance program shall insure and cover each employee of the city commencing the day following 30 days of continuous employment. Part-time or seasonal help are not eligible for city insurance. In the event of employee’s death, city will pay insurance premium for surviving spouse and/or dependent children who were covered under employee’s policy at the time of death for a period of 12 months.
