(A) The normal workweek is Sunday through Saturday beginning and ending at midnight on Saturday, and consisting of 40 hours. The normal workday will consist of eight consecutive hours of work with an unpaid meal period.
(B) The schedule of hours for employees will be determined by each department head. The department head will inform employees of their daily schedule of hours of work.
(C) All nonexempt employees are required to complete an individual time record showing daily hours worked. Time records cover one workweek and must be completed daily. Employees should record starting time, time out for lunch, time in from lunch, and quitting time. Employees are not permitted to sign in or begin work before their normal starting time or to sign out or stop work after their normal quitting time without the prior approval of their supervisor. Employees are required to take a scheduled lunch or meal break. Employee time records should be checked and signed by the supervisor involved. Time not worked for which an employee is entitled to be paid (paid absences, paid holidays, or paid vacation time) should be entered by the supervisor on the time record. The supervisor should also identify authorized overtime. The falsifying of any time record is prohibited and may be grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
(D) An employee may clock in no more than seven minutes before their scheduled work time. Any employee clocking in between one and seven minutes after their starting time will be counted as tardy for disciplinary purposes with no reduction in pay. Employees more than seven minutes late, in addition to being charged as tardy, will have pay reduced according to the following schedule.

(B) All employees scheduled to work on a given holiday will be paid at a rate of time and a half for all hours worked in addition to normal holiday pay. Employee must work the scheduled day before and after the holiday to receive holiday pay. If the holiday falls on Saturday, holiday will be observed on Friday. If holiday falls on Sunday, holiday will be observed on Monday. In the event that the employee’s normal work schedule dictates that he or she works the Saturday and/or Sunday, those days will be considered his or her holiday(s), and they will be paid at one and a half times their normal rate of pay in addition to the holiday pay.
