§ 54.061 PROCEDURE WHEN WATER IS OBTAINED PARTIALLY OR WHOLLY FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN CITY WATERWORKS.
   If a user obtains water partially or wholly from sources other than the City Waterworks, the total water used shall be measured or determined as provided in §§ 54.026(B) and 54.041(C), or by other reasonable means as the Council may direct. In the case of single-family household having a private well but no city water supply, the sewer flow charge shall be for 6,000 gallons per month, unless a meter is installed on the well at the request of either the user or the city, in which case, the cost of installation shall be paid for by the user and the meter shall be provided by the city. The installation of any such meter shall be approved by the city.
