(A) When a utility facility is no longer required on a bridge, the utility will notify the County Roads Department. The County Roads Department will decide if that facility must be removed, the removal cost being the responsibility of the utility company.
(B) If the County Roads Department determines the utility should be removed, then removal shall be accomplished within 6 months. The County Roads Department will determine prior to work beginning if a bond will be required by the facility owner to insure that removal costs are accounted for if abandonment is required.
