§ 54.45 CONSOLIDATION AND JOINT USE.
A utility is expected to consolidate its faculties when performing relocation work in order to preserve as much of the corridor as possible for the transportation function and for the accommodation of other utilities. For the same reasons, utilities have a strong obligation to enter into joint use agreements with other utilities wherever possible. The County Roads Department may require proof that crosstalk or technical problems will not allow consolidation or joint use techniques to be employed.
