(A) Applications for permits shall be signed by a duly authorized representative of the utility making the request and submitted to the County Roads Department.
(B) The application shall provide complete information as to the nature or the work to be done and the impact of the work on the roadway and its appurtenances.
(C) Permits are issued by the County Roads Department under the signature of the general roads superintendent or their designee.
(D) A copy of the permit must be available at the job site at all times.
(E) Permits issued by the county do not relieve utilities from compliance with any applicable federal, state, or local government regulations. It shall be the duty of the permittee to obtain any additional permits required by other agencies or by property owners where the county has only a prescriptive roadway easement.
