(A) Section 322 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, enacted under 104 of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, (DMA 2000) P.L. 106-390: Section 322 of the Stafford act addresses state mitigation planning, identifies new local mitigation planning requirements, authorizes Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds for planning activities, and increases the amount of HMGP funds available to states that develop a comprehensive, enhanced mitigation plan.
