(A) Action on petitions. Petitions for establishing districts shall be filed and reviewed in accordance with the implementing state regulations promulgated in COMAR 15.17.01.03.
(B) Effective date. Each district shall become established on and from the date on which the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation records the district agreement form(s) with the land records in the custody of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Garrett County.
(C) Official files. An official file for each district, which shall be a public record, shall be maintained by the Garrett County Planning Office. The file shall include the copy of the signed district agreement furnished to the county by the state and a map showing the boundaries of the district. The official maps shall be made current annually by June 30.
