The Garrett County Road Name Index adopted by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners and on file in the Department of Planning and Land Development shall be the official listing for streets and roads in Garrett County and the streets and roads are assigned the names listed therein. As used in this subchapter, the terms street and road shall have the same meaning and shall also include avenues, boulevards, highways, lanes, ways and similar street types.
