(A) A violation of any section of this chapter, including the maintenance or operation of any such junkyard or dump without a license, is a misdemeanor, subject upon conviction to a fine of not less than $50. Each day on which a violation continues is a separate offense.
(B) If a junkyard, automotive dismantler and recycler facility, or scrap metal processing facility is in violation of any provision of this chapter, the appropriate authorities of Garrett County, in addition to other remedies, may institute an injunction in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about such premises. The rights and remedies provided in this chapter are cumulative and are in addition to all other remedies provided by law.
