(A) A duplicate metal license tag to replace a lost tag shall be issued to the dog or cat’s owner upon application and the payment of $2.
(B) The metal dog license tag shall be securely fastened to the dog’s choke chain, collar, or harness and worn by the dog at all times unless the dog is engaged in supervised hunting or other sport where a collar would endanger the dog’s safety or adversely affect its hunting or sport purpose.
