(A) Any persons who shall play a roulette, chuck-a-luck, poker, monte, or any other gambling game or game of chance where money or any article of value is staked shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined.
(B) No person or persons shall keep, own, or conduct a house, shop, or place resorted to for the purpose of gambling, nor permit or suffer any person in any house, shop, or place under his or her or their control to play at cards, dice, faro, keno, roulette, equality, or other games for money, other things, or things representing money or property, or allow any other gambling game or game of chance where money, other property, or things representing money is staked.
