§ 70.06 LIGHTS AND NUMBERS.
   (A)   A motor vehicle shall, while in motion, during the period from half an hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise, display at least two lighted lamps on the front and one on the rear of such motor vehicle. Such lamps to conform to the state law; provided that a motorcycle or motor bicycle shall be required to display but one lighted lamp in front and one in the rear.
   (B)   All vehicles shall, during the period from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise, display at least two lighted lamps on the front and one on the rear of such motor vehicle, which rear lamp shall display a red light, plainly visible from the rears; provided that a motor cycle shall be required to display but one lighted lamp in front and one in the rear. The rays of such rear light shall shine upon the number plate carried upon the rear of such motor vehicle, in such manner as to render the numerals thereon plainly visible, and every motor vehicle shall, at all times, have the number assigned to it by the state displayed on the back of such motor vehicle and plainly visible as above provided.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful to use any acetylene, gas, or electric head lights or side lights upon any vehicle or motor vehicle upon any of the streets and alleys of the city, unless same are dimmed in such a way as to prevent the light from being dazzling or blinding to persons using the street.
